Denachu Village

On a planet known as Remia, a very Earth-like planet, there live wild creatures known as Crémon. They live in the forest in groups called clans. They each have their own territory that they call home. They defend it from enemy clans and predators with their lives. Danger lurks around every corner. Death and sickness that happen at any time. It's a cruel world out in the wild. Only the strong survive around here.

In a village known as Denachu Village, a clan filled with Electric-types of the Denachu line, life peacefully with each other. They train together and help each other out. Though they're not without rotten mice that want to cause trouble. They all await the day for the God of Thunder himself, a Hermies named Raiden, to show himself and pick the lucky Denachu or Voltchu to become the legendary Thunder Warrior.

The awaited trial is soon to be upon the small village. Do you have what it takes to prove yourself to Raiden and become the Thunder Warrior?

Ikinachu, or Iki for short, scampered to and fro, sniffing the air. His tyail swished and his nostrols flared. The Voltchu was sensing change in the wind. There was an electricity in the air that hadn'tr been felt since Raiden last visited the area.

"Keme..." he whispered to the other mouse next to him "I think it's time!"

The Denachu blinked as he looked up at the sound of Iki's voice. The mouse tilted his head to one side as he watched his friend scamper about. Keme twitched an ear as he stood up, shaking leaves out of his fur. He sniffed the air, getting the feeling that something was coming. Electricity in the air that he was told from the legend of Raiden when he'd come and the trial to find the Thunder Warrior would begin. But so soon? The legendary went that the mighty cat wasn't due for a little while yet.

"Don't be too sure, Iki. Don't forget, there's other Electric-types in the forest that's not just us. We'll have to wait and see."

"This is different!" the older mouse insisted. "I can feel it in the air. Once you evolve, you can notice different signitures in the elkements. This feels legendary...almost like the very forest is trembling under this static."

Keme wrinkled his nose at that. He had no intention to evolve into a Voltchu. Sure they looked cool, but he preferred to stay as a Denachu. Though he chose to believe the older mouse's words. If what he said was true, then he had no reason to not believe him. Iki hadn't been wrong before. If that was the case, then Raiden was coming a lot sooner then anyone in the village thought.

Shara looked at him, a bit worried. She knew what was coming and she feared for everyone's safety.

The young mouse shared a look with Shara as she looked at him. Keme offered her a reasurring smile, hoping that it would ease her worries just a tad. The thought of Raiden showing up was bound to make anyone nervous. He was the God of Thunder after all. The ruler of the element they all wielded. Only one of them could be chosen to become the next Thunder Warrior and go with the mighty cat to train with him. The Denachu would be lying if he said he wasn't a bit on edge about that as well. He did his best to hide it however. No need to worry anyone.

Shara smiled sadly at him. She knew something was coming but she didn't know what it was.

"Everything's going to be okay, Shara. I promise." He hoped at least. Anything could happen between now and the trial once Raiden showed up. If what Iki said was even true to begin with. There was still no way of knowing for sure or not until he showed himself.

"I sure hope so..."

"I know you wouldn't lie to me."

Keme nodded. He never once lied to Shara. He cared too much about her to do such a thing. He hoped this wouldn't be one of the times that he did. He was sure everything would be fine. The stories he had grown up listening to told him that Raiden was a good Cremon. Nothing bad was going to happen.

She looked worried still but decided to calm down and wait it out.

"Hey, Iki?" he called, turning his attention to the Voltchu. "Do you still feel the energy?"

Shara looked at him, interested.

Keme twitched an ear as he waited for the Voltchu to say something.

"What?"

The male Denachu shrugged his shoulders in reply.

She just sighed.

Keme gave her a pat on the shoulder gently.

"Thanks Keme... I appreciate that."

The male Denachu gave a nod. He was happy he could help her, even if it was only a little bit.

She kept moving forward.

He followed after her, nose twitching as he kept his ears perked for anything. If what the other Denachu had said was true and Raiden was on his way to the village, it would surely only be a matter of time.
