Personality: This little pupper is brand new to the world. Her mother and father being some of the vary rare breeds to come into existence just a few years before humans went extinct. This little girl is no stranger to danger though, and the Husky in her tells her that she is bigger, tougher and more ferocious then she actually is. Ironically her young age makes her more capable then the older dogs, since she does not remember the time before the humans disappeared and has all her life experience so far living in this world. The Apocalypse never came for her, she was born in it, this is just life.

Personality: Gunner is a rigid dog, with strict ideas on how things should work. When things don't quite add up with this, it confuses and alarms her. She is loyal and obedient, but she is not one to let her thoughts be left unspoken. Gunner doesn't shy away from what she believes needs to be done, and only backs down when it's absolutely necessary.

History: Gunner lived all her life before in the care of her human, David. While they were great friends and constant companions, more than that they were partners. They'd gone hunting together many times, and they had made a great team back in the day. One day, David had to go. Gunner was always worried when he left, but this time was worse, because she could see David was worried too. Even worse, he never came back.

After what seemed like ages of digging and pawing, Gunner finally made it out of her home and into the outside, but it was different than before. She made it by using the hunting skills David had taught her, but no matter where she went there were no humans anywhere. Refusing to give up, Gunner made it her mission to find the humans, and more importantly, find David.

Personality: Star is rather skittish of bigger dogs but loves cold climates and running. She tried to be cheerful and an optimist, often presenting a mellow attitude but can get quite a fierceness to her when she is protecting herself and her unborn pups. It is possible she will become a devotee mother, though she worries how her inexperience might hinder her.

History: Star remembers safety and warmth the most about living with humans. That was until it was ripped from her upon biting a human who was bullying the boy known as Rabasten. She was only six months then and was taken away, dumped on the side of a country road in a box. It was sleet and cold that night.

She lay in the box for days, no food or water left for her. An older dog found her and raised her in a pack of other dogs, the youngster learning quick to avoid humans at all costs. When the virus came and things began to change, the pack began dying, first the old and the pups, then their patrollers. One-by-one the pack perished, some fleeing away from the destruction. Star has no idea if those who fled the pack are alive but she now wandered alone, trying to survive in a harsh world.

Personality: Siku is a rather charismatic dog. He is used to leading and feels comfortable in leadership positions.

History: Siku was the leader of a team of sled dogs. He and his team had numerous wins under their collars before they eventually retired a year before the outbreak. The whole team was reloacated to new homes since their original owner, Bob, couldn't care for them anymore. One has no idea where the rest of his team is or even if they're still alive. He spent approximately a year with Steve, his new owner, before he died due to the disease.

Personality: Chase is somewhat nihilistic. She doesn’t believe that they will survive for long, but her determination makes it into a contest between life and death. She is hard headed and strong, doing what she knows is right for her own survival. She can be somewhat selfish but if she believes that another dog can survive with her, she will make it so.

History: Chase ran as a running dog. Her times in the dog tracks keeping her strong and fit for what came next. She was an esteemed racer, catching some of the best times and earning her spot as a champion. She had only one litter of three small pups, who were sent to a different kennel a couple of states away. Chase was in the peak of her racing career when the virus was first recorded.

The director of the dog tracks was one of the first to die. As he was also the owner of Chase's kennel, her world fell apart. One by one, staffing abandoned the place, leaving only the dogs in their cages and one or two others who tried to tie up loose ends. Chase believed she would die in that hellish place, surrounded by other terrified hounds. Eventually the remaining staff died, some leaving but others too sick to leave, their lives ending right in the kennels.

A government issued rescue team, sent in part by a dog rescue, finally found her and her companions. They entered the dog kennel, only to find bloated bodies and desperate canines. With only a bit of space in their transport, the rescuers had to let some dogs go. Chase was one of them.

She roamed for days, hungry and tired. She was tided over by scavenging dead animals (and humans, but only if she was desperate). Rabbits were abundant in some areas, so she was able to catch one whenever she needed, though she knew she couldn’t stay in one place. Chase joined a small scruffy pack of dogs for a bit, taking over leadership and directing movement. After a while, her nihilistic mindset grew on her. She abandoned the pack in the night, leaving behind not a trace.

Personality: This young dog is an adventurous and spritely young dog, just out of puppyhood. Having lived on a rural farm before the Strain took his humans from him, Amak has been fascinated with the world around him. He still doesn't quite understand this whole 'apocalypse' thing, and has been running from his home ever since the humans became undone. Fleeing westward, all he has to rely on are his instincts and natural need to hunt. However, without much formal training, Amak is more interested in pouncing on his potential food instead of killing it.

This has caused the charismatic young pup to seek shelter and refuge with other dogs. He may not be the brightest, but he knows he needs a pack, and fast.

Personality: Ayra has an outward impression of being polite to her superiors, considerate of her peers, and confident in herself. She has occasional moments of bashfulness and competitiveness, but otherwise, appears quite collected. She is generally upbeat and cheerful. Even in the toughest of times, her natural reaction to everything is to smile. The smile, however, isn't infallible and is capable of failing her. During extremely stressful or emotional times, her smile can faulty leaving her in tears with everyone else. The first thing Ayra would do once she finished bawling her eyes out would be to make sure her friends were happy; seeing her friends happy made her happy so there is mutual gain in her false facade.

History: Ayra never knew life outside of the Strain. She was born into it and as thus, this world is all that she knew. Unfortunately for her, her mother ended up leaving her due to food being hard to find for both of them. The pup did her best to survive in this unforgiving world and she knew very well that she wouldn't last long without a pack to help protect her and look out for her. Because of this, the golden retriever puppy began to seek a pack that would be willing to accept her.

Personality: Skye is very caring and wise. She would do anything to protect her pack and keep things in order. She rarely shows any aggression and is the easy going type of dog. When it comes to fighting she is strong, quick and agile. Sometimes she can seem a bit bossy and a little too trusting.

History: Skye lived as a pet dog with a loving family since she was a small pup. She was well cared for and looked after until the mother got very sick and the family had to move home. Skye was sent to a family relative in the city who was very abusive. When the opportunity arose, Skye ran away and became a stray long before the Strain even happened

Personality: She is very blunt. Kali often times is very impulsive and doesn't know what she's getting herself into. She is also blunt with other dogs and doesn't consider their feelings sometimes. She often tells them witty remarks that make the other dog very offended. She apologizes, but Kali doesn't feel sorry sometimes. Since she is quite witty, she is also observant so then she can get some dirt on her fellow gang members. This is so then when they try to insult her, she can just whip out the dirt she found about that other dog and they will (often times) leave in shock.

Personality: Perhaps it is a breed trait that drives her to be so protective over those she considers friend or family. Perhaps it is simply her own design. Whatever it is, she will defend her friends and family with her life. Stepping in to fight for them, or simply back them up verbally. She does not hesitate no matter the cost, so long as those rare few she loves are protected. She does not seem to think about this, does not over analyze why she is the way she is. An innate desire, so deep it is second nature. This protective nature extends to those in her gang as well, to a much lower degree. She will stand with them, but she will not die for them. Her protective nature twists and turns slightly, morphing into a protective desire over her home as well... territorial. She does not like strangers invading where she calls home.

A thirst for knowledge has always been there, from the time she was a young puppy. Easy to train when owned by humans, and even now that she is a stray this desire grows. Eager to learn new things, be it herbs for healing - a passion of hers - or fighting techniques. Anything she can learn, she will jump at the chance to do so. She enjoys sharing her knowledge as well, watching others catch on to what she is attempting to teach them is the best feeling in the world. Because of the desire to spread her knowledge, she enjoys spending her time with pups.

Personality: While still young and aloof for now, Seren is not easily made angry and has a natural affinity to being obedient. Seren appears to be rarely irritated or mad, but she can be curt and direct when she becomes agitated.

One thing is for certain is that Seren is a survivor with a keen eye for danger she is often the first to point out something or sense something wrong to adults.

Seren often hesitates in her ability when she prompted to do something she doesn't know or hasn't perfected. She is not aware of this trait.

An insult is very likely to stick with her for a very long time; especially ones that pick about her abilities. Seren will often take these jabs to heart and perpetually think on them and think of herself critically, she hides the fact that she gets upset and never defends herself.

Easily influenced by others, Seren takes what they say at face value and can be easily manipulated. She is easily influenced by her brother, who she treats as an ultimate authority. Suggestions are very powerful in her opinion and her personality can and will change.

History:

• Seren and her only surviving brother Tane were born in the city to two different mothers weeks apart. Both parents had agreed before their birth that both litters would co-mingle in hopes that they would harbor less judgment between them, as both mothers were friends and raised both pups together as an extended family.

• Seren constantly shadowed Tane even when she wasn't wanted, she learned to be quiet and stealthy around him. Tane would often half-casually cast Seren aside as the bastard child of the two families when they were introduced to new friends.
  
  
• Tane was getting frustrated with Seren, he was 6 months old with a 2-month-old puppy straggling behind him. He eventually walked away from her to play with others his age group.
  
  
• Seren was picked up by two human children and taken home by them. Their parents grabbed Seren off of the kids and said that Seren was going to an adoption center.
  
  
• When the center refused due to overcrowding the father got creative and decided to bag her up and throw Seren into the river.
  
  
• Seren did survive but ended up scrambling out of the river with no sense of direction and began wandering. Sometime after that, the Strain happened, not that it mattered to her. She was already on her own and surviving that way.

Personality: Rai is quite shy and timid to say the least. He’s not the bravest Denachu around and is scared of many things. He’ll run at the first sign of danger or if something looks dangerous. His biggest fear is fire and water. He’s terrified of it really. However, he is the kindest little mouse there is on top of that. He’s extremely generous as well. To a fault really. Say if someone just ate and they wanted more food, he would give them his, even if he was hungry. He’s also very curious and that can lead him into getting into trouble a lot. He wishes to help other Kurisuta, which can lead to more problems for him depending on if he trusts the wrong one. He’s a good-hearted little mouse that just wants to do the best he can. Even with his shyness and timidness, if someone messes with his friends, he’ll defend them. Friendship means a lot to him. Trust and loyalty are also important to the little chu. Any sort of betrayals or back-stabs will affect him greatly. He’s an adventurous little mouse too and it shows with him wanting to help Kurisuta in trouble despite how frightened he is.

Personality: Wishingstar is a curious little dog. He sticks his nose in just about anything. Even if he really shouldn’t. Which more or less gets him into a lot of trouble.

His is quite the adventurous little canine on top of that. often being the one to lead his friends on crazy and wild adventures that only he could think of. He loves to tell stories. From classic tales, to made up ones, to everything in between. He has a very big imagination for such a little dog. His ways of telling the stories make it seem like the listener is actually there and he might stretch the truth sometimes, but that’s only to make the stories more fun and interesting.

Despite his adventure loving, he can be cowardly at times. He knows when to turn back and make a run for home. Though a part of him always wants to finish an adventure to the end. The thrill of the chase as it were. He has a big heart and cares deeply for those that he considers family and friends and won’t stand for them being mistreated in anyway.

History: Stitcii was once a normal plush toy. He was created by mad scientists that wanted to give life to something that had no life. As such, they played around with things that they shouldn't of, creating a soul (the blue flame in the picture) and placing it inside the toy. It worked in the end and the Denachu plush was alive. Even after that, the tests and experiments continued. He was forced to do things that he didn't want to do. He was made to kill other Kurisuta, testing out the power he had thanks to the soul inside of him. The soul was too powerful, something that they needed to keep contained and in control. Under their control. Strangely enough, the scientists began dying off one by one, due to being exposed to what was used to make the soul. Shortly after that, the facility was attacked, forced to shut down and all the experiments were killed. All expect him. He was able to escape before they got him. With no place to go or a home to call his own, Stitcii was forced to wander the world, looking for his purpose. All the while trying to keep his soul from getting out or taking control of him. He feared what would happen if it did....

Other: Stitcii's soul protects him from things normally harmful to toys. Like water and fire, though he's still very scared of them. If he's injured, his soul will work to repair the damage or try to escape through the wound. The soul is a separate entity from him, even if it is what gave him life and keeping him alive. He can hear the thing talk to him, often trying to coax him into things that he doesn't want to do, or try to take him over. The little plush has nightmares often on top of all this.
