Personality: Ruftan is a spirited young puppy. He's kind and caring to those he meets, so long as they're another animal. He doesn't like nor trust humans due to what he went through with them. He's fun loving and curious like most pups. He has a high sense for adventure and is often seen getting into trouble because of his 'adventures'. Once he sets his mind to something, it's hard to get him to change his idea.

History: Ruftan didn't live a very good four-months of life. He was abused by his owners while he stayed with them. The only kindness he was shown was by their son, who would often tend to his wounds and fix him up whenever the kid's parents got too rough with him. One day, the boy released him, telling him to run away and to never come back. Find a new home where he'd be happy rather than living in the hell that he did. The pup did as he was told and ran far from the cruel house. He found himself in a forest and stumbled across a FlamePack patrol. He was taken back to their camp and allowed to join them in their ranks not long after.

Personality: To put it simply, he's a fighter. Berus is one that doesn't back down from a challenge. He'll stand by what he beleives in until the very end. Despite this, he knows when it is a good idea to back off, even if he doesn't want to. He's a good-hearted canine underneath his hard-headness, and prideful attitude. He'll always do the right thing in the end.

History: He was born into the dogfighting life. He knew nothing else but the dogfights. Every since he was a puppy, he was forced to undergo training for the fights. It was brutal and painful, but the canine put up with it. He had no choice but to. Years later, he escaped from the cruel place with Apollo and the other dogs that were able to survive the hell they suffered.

Personality: To sum it up, Ricto is a little shit. He's a cocky young puppy that always thinks he's right and can do no wrong. He's stuck up, thinking he's all that. He's confident to the point of being overconfident. He can be snarky and down right mean a lot of the time.

Personality: Akela is a hyper young up. She's full of energy and is always seen with a smile on her face. She loves to play and have fun and isn't one that personally likes grumps or 'sticks in the mud' as she likes to call them. She has a thrill for adventure and wants to have a ton of it when she's older. She can be serious when the time calls for it and if pushed too far, her happy-go-lucky attitude will shift and she'll snap at anyone who pisses her off.

Personality: She is a sweet dog. She's caring and loving to all dogs. She's loyal just as the rest of her pack. She hates to see a dog injured or hurt in anyway. She always tries her best to help others in need no matter what they might be. She's soft-spoken and mostly keeps to herself in her den unless she's needed for something. She isn't much of a talker and is rather shy.

History: Pacha was a loner that ran away from home. She was sick and tired of being cooped up inside and wanted to see what it was like in the outside world. She stumbled across FlamePack territory one day and was taken back to camp. There she met the other dogs and wished to join them. Seeing as how she hated the thought of fighting and could barely hunt to save her life, she was apprenticed to the Shaman before her, training to be the next in one for the Pack she now called home.

Personality: Very happy and sweet but very cautious

History: Talula was a dog to an old man. She was given to him by his grand children to keep him company after his wife died. They were never seperated, from the time she was a puppy to the time of her owners death. When the plague hit he ended up getting hurt and she burried him. She wouldnt leave him for those creatures. Day turned to dusk as she finished burying and mourning her friend. She had to move, or she would end up dead. She had to fight to live for her late owner and friend.

Appearance: 

Personality: Miika is a gentle giant as the pups call her. Despite being in the dogfights, she doesn't really like to hurt anyone. She doesn't want to see others hurt. However, she knows that she has to in order to survive and defend herself is she needs too. She's what one would call an 'ear to listen to' as she'll listen to problems that a dog might be having.

History: Like most of the other large dogs, she was in the dogfights. She was picked up off the streets before she was given to the underground fights. When Apollo and the others escaped, she went with them, wanting a better life than what she had. She never regretted her choice.

Name: Max

Appearance: 

Personality: Max is a playful dog. He loves to play and just down right have a good time. He's friendly and caring, a good guardian to look after the pups whenever the queens need a break. He's a bit of a talker, never really knowing when to shut up. He means well, he really does.

History: He used to belong to a human. The man was old and elderly and sadly passed away. Max was taken from his home and dumped off by the side of the road. Left to wander around aimlessly, the large dog was picked up and taken to the dogfights. He wasn't there for very long before he escaped along with the rest of those he now called his Pack.

Name: Jagger

Appearance: 

Personality: Jagger is a mean-spirited, bitter dog. The main reason he is bitter is because that he feels he should be leader of the Pack instead of Apollo. He thinks he's the rightful dog as Alpha. He loves to fight, given it's in his blood, but he won't attack his Packmates. He'll snap at them if they get on his nerves, which is very easy to do.

History: Jagger was born into the dogfights. He was breed to be one of the best fighters for it. He escaped with the others when they fled from the dogfights. He declared himself Apollo's rival and he made it his goal to outdo him in everything if he can. That was easier said than done, but he was determined to pass him in ranks one day.

Name: Dash

Appearance: 

Personality: Dash lives up to her name in more ways than one. She's a fast talker as she is a runner. She never seems to slow down and is always full of energy. She's highly active a lot of the time, only time not is when she's asleep or eating, or she has to sit still. She's a fast runner, one of the quickest in the Pack.

Name: Rascal

Appearance: 

Personality: Rascal lives up to his name and is extremely mischievous. Although friendly and well-meaning, he is something of a wind-up merchant and gets a great kick out of teasing his friends and family members-with Georgette being his favorite target. He is easily distracted and lacks the subtlety and stealth of a good thief, but this is no hindrance to him. He is stubborn and takes a thrill out of challenging authority. Having fun is the main priority in Rascal's life, and the louder, rougher and messier, the better.

Name: Lucky

Personality: Lucky is a bit of a loner, taking on a fatalistic attitude towards the world. He's lost most of his hope yet a small bit remains in the search for clues. He can be quite brave and due to the increased intelligence given to animals, he thinks things through carefully, always listening for rumors or reading words in case they might be important.

History: Lucky belonged to his owner Chloe before the Strain was discovered. She was studying to become a medical scientist and was about to land her training.

When the strain occurred the government forced everyone to leave towards quarantine areas. She and Lucky were heartbroken to have to leave each other. She promised she'd come back for him but she never did. A year later, Lucky found the quarantined area only to find it devoid any signs of human life. This began his loner lifestyle, he carried what supplies he could from the area and set off on his own. Now it's been 3 years since the outbreak and Lucky has decided to search for clues.

Personality: This little pupper is brand new to the world. Her mother and father being some of the vary rare breeds to come into existence just a few years before humans went extinct. This little girl is no stranger to danger though, and the Husky in her tells her that she is bigger, tougher and more ferocious then she actually is. Ironically her young age makes her more capable then the older dogs, since she does not remember the time before the humans disappeared and has all her life experience so far living in this world. The Apocalypse never came for her, she was born in it, this is just life.

Name: Gunner

Appearance:

Personality: Gunner is a rigid dog, with strict ideas on how things should work. When things don't quite add up with this, it confuses and alarms her. She is loyal and obedient, but she is not one to let her thoughts be left unspoken. Gunner doesn't shy away from what she believes needs to be done, and only backs down when it's absolutely necessary.

History: Gunner lived all her life before in the care of her human, David. While they were great friends and constant companions, more than that they were partners. They'd gone hunting together many times, and they had made a great team back in the day. One day, David had to go. Gunner was always worried when he left, but this time was worse, because she could see David was worried too. Even worse, he never came back.

After what seemed like ages of digging and pawing, Gunner finally made it out of her home and into the outside, but it was different than before. She made it by using the hunting skills David had taught her, but no matter where she went there were no humans anywhere. Refusing to give up, Gunner made it her mission to find the humans, and more importantly, find David.

Appearance:

Personality: Star is rather skittish of bigger dogs but loves cold climates and running. She tried to be cheerful and an optimist, often presenting a mellow attitude but can get quite a fierceness to her when she is protecting herself and her unborn pups. It is possible she will become a devotee mother, though she worries how her inexperience might hinder her.

History: Star remembers safety and warmth the most about living with humans. That was until it was ripped from her upon biting a human who was bullying the boy known as Rabasten. She was only six months then and was taken away, dumped on the side of a country road in a box. It was sleet and cold that night.

She lay in the box for days, no food or water left for her. An older dog found her and raised her in a pack of other dogs, the youngster learning quick to avoid humans at all costs. When the virus came and things began to change, the pack began dying, first the old and the pups, then their patrollers. One-by-one the pack perished, some fleeing away from the destruction. Star has no idea if those who fled the pack are alive but she now wandered alone, trying to survive in a harsh world.

Name: Siku

Appearance:

Personality: Siku is a rather charismatic dog. He is used to leading and feels comfortable in leadership positions.

History: Siku was the leader of a team of sled dogs. He and his team had numerous wins under their collars before they eventually retired a year before the outbreak. The whole team was reloacated to new homes since their original owner, Bob, couldn't care for them anymore. One has no idea where the rest of his team is or even if they're still alive. He spent approximately a year with Steve, his new owner, before he died due to the disease.

Other: He is currently looking for a pack to join. His name means ice.

Name: Chase

Age: 5

Breed: Borzoi

Appearance:

Personality: Chase is somewhat nihilistic. She doesn’t believe that they will survive for long, but her determination makes it into a contest between life and death. She is hard headed and strong, doing what she knows is right for her own survival. She can be somewhat selfish but if she believes that another dog can survive with her, she will make it so.

History: Chase ran as a running dog. Her times in the dog tracks keeping her strong and fit for what came next. She was an esteemed racer, catching some of the best times and earning her spot as a champion. She had only one litter of three small pups, who were sent to a different kennel a couple of states away. Chase was in the peak of her racing career when the virus was first recorded.

The director of the dog tracks was one of the first to die. As he was also the owner of Chase's kennel, her world fell apart. One by one, staffing abandoned the place, leaving only the dogs in their cages and one or two others who tried to tie up loose ends. Chase believed she would die in that hellish place, surrounded by other terrified hounds. Eventually the remaining staff died, some leaving but others too sick to leave, their lives ending right in the kennels.

A government issued rescue team, sent in part by a dog rescue, finally found her and her companions. They entered the dog kennel, only to find bloated bodies and desperate canines. With only a bit of space in their transport, the rescuers had to let some dogs go. Chase was one of them.

She roamed for days, hungry and tired. She was tided over by scavenging dead animals (and humans, but only if she was desperate). Rabbits were abundant in some areas, so she was able to catch one whenever she needed, though she knew she couldn’t stay in one place. Chase joined a small scruffy pack of dogs for a bit, taking over leadership and directing movement. After a while, her nihilistic mindset grew on her. She abandoned the pack in the night, leaving behind not a trace.

Name: Amak

Breed: Irish Setter

Appearance:

Personality: This young dog is an adventurous and spritely young dog, just out of puppyhood. Having lived on a rural farm before the Strain took his humans from him, Amak has been fascinated with the world around him. He still doesn't quite understand this whole 'apocalypse' thing, and has been running from his home ever since the humans became undone. Fleeing westward, all he has to rely on are his instincts and natural need to hunt. However, without much formal training, Amak is more interested in pouncing on his potential food instead of killing it.

This has caused the charismatic young pup to seek shelter and refuge with other dogs. He may not be the brightest, but he knows he needs a pack, and fast.

Name: Muna

Age: 4 months

Breed: Akita

Appearance:

Personality: Muna is a friendly little puppy. She’s kind and caring, willing to help others out if need be. She doubts herself a lot, often thinking that she can’t do things because she’s nothing more than a small puppy with the weight of saving  Yoru from an evil tyrant on her shoulders. Despite this, she tries to do what she thinks is right, even if others don’t agree with it sometimes. Even so, this little puppy will defend herself if she needs to and will die to protect those she cares about.

She is a very brave, compassionate and kind dog with an unusually strong sense of justice. She is friendly and always ready to help other dogs, rarely doubting their intentions.

She is a polite and calm little puppy. She is a strong, but slightly naive sense of moral. She isn't afraid to die but hates the idea of others sacrificing themselves for her.

She is very persistent, never giving up and telling others to hang on. Though she is small and not very strong yet, she has natural skill and great speed. She can be impulsive and reckless due to her youth and sometimes the swings of sadness and anger take control of her.

While she is quite young, she has the skills to be a great leader and takes that role seriously. She has skills to make her a good leader, even if she has her flaws.

History: Muna was born to Scout, one of the Generals of the canine army. She grew up living a happy-go-lucky life playing with her friend Kunai. But that all changed one day for the tiny dog. Her home was attacked by enemy dogs while she was out playing with Kunai. By the time she returned home, she was left to face the aftermath of the battle that had taken place.

She ran to the dying body of her uncle, a large Doberman named Bosco. He told her to run away to find a pack to find Major Flint, that he would know what to do. The frightened puppy followed his orders, racing away from her once home. She never once looked back as tears trailed down her blue eyes.

It wasn’t long before she ran into the Major. She watched as the Doberman attacked smaller dogs left over from the first attack. The great canine spoke to her not long after, chasing away the doubt she had about leading a pack to take back Yoru from a group of dogs that had taken over there.

Joined by Kunai, the three dogs began their long quest to find a form a pack in order to save their home from an evil dog and his pack that had taken it over.

Appearance:

Personality: A beautiful, yet cruel mistress. She takes a sadistic joy in watching the destruction of others, and does not know guilt or remorse. She is an absolute genius if she has her sights on you, she will stop at nothing until your corpse is at her feet. She takes her job very seriously and isn't one to show emotions outside of the sadsstic joy. She will stop at nothing to complete any task given to her.
