Gemkat

Long ago there was a war between Gemkats and Metaldogs. They were at each other's throats all the time. The battle between the Empire and Domain lasted for eons with many losses from both sides. After a long war, the two species settled down and came to an agreement. They lived next to each other in peace for many eons after the bloodshed came to an end.

The two became to slowly get closer and closer as the eons went on. Soon enough, kats and dogs were living in peace with one another in the Empire. It seemed as though the galaxy was finally at peace. However, that wasn't meant to last at all.

A new threat arose from the shadows. It came in the form of terrifying beats known as Dragens. They were bloodthirsty and cruel. They wanted to take over the Empire and rule it with iron claws. The Superiors refused to back down and allow themselves to be ruled by such wicked creatures.

This angered the leader of the dragens, a twisted female by the name of Sahara. She forced her oldest daughter, Afterlight, to cast a powerful spell on the Gemkats and she did. She cursed them. Doomed them to be corrupted and turn into kat dragens. Their gems protect them from the curse, shielding them from it. Should their gem shatter, they will corrupt.

The spell turned Afterlight insane, being too powerful for anyone to handle. She slaughtered a lot of her siblings in cold blood and was locked away in the dungeon of the Kingdom to rot away until her mother saw use for her again.

Things were not peaceful in the Empire neither. Things had gotten bad there. The Superiors made the laws stricter. They created a Caste System, a ranking system of some Gemkats being better then others. Treating the lesser ones like they were lesser then dirt. Thus the Rebellion was created.

It was started by a white she-cat named Moon and a Metaldog named Bullet. Together they created a team of Rebels that called themselves Team Radiance. They tried to escape from the Empire, wishing for a better life than the hell they were currently living in. However, as they tried to get away, they were caught and captured.

They were seen as traitors and were given a special mark to show that they were traitors to the Empire. Even their children were given such a mark as soon as they were born into the world. Marked Ones the Empire called them and they were treated lesser than Servants.

Their second attempt at escape worked and the Rebels, as well as anyone that wanted to go with them, fled from the planet Zunus, where the Empire was on. They went to a planet known as Cuolia and made their home there.

Sometime later, Moon had a son. A little black kat that she called Raeven. Sadly, not long after he was born, just a few days older, Moon and her mate were killed by a group of assassins, leaving him parentless. He was taken in by Perr and others close to his mother.

Now it was up to him to put an end to eons of war between the Rebels, Empire, and Kingdom. The journey ahead of him would be no easy task at all. He was going to face many dangers and hardships. It was up to the fate of the stars if he was going to succeed or fail.

~Gemkat Ranking System~

Superiors: These are the leaders of Zunus. They are the highest in ranking. The rulers of the land. They have the final say as to what goes on on the planet. They are normally a type of Diamond.

Commanders: These are a sort of deputy-like rank. They take care of organizing things for the Diamonds and make sure everything is running as it should.

Overseers: These cats are the overseers of everything in the Empire as well as the Death Area. They help keep things in order as well as over see the battles to the death in the Area.

Captians: The captions are Gemcats that captions of the warriors, just under the Generals. They also help out in the Area as well.

Generals: Generals are higher ranking warriors. They are the general over their group of warriors. They give them the orders that they carry out, often as ordered by the Superiors themselves.

Warriors: These are the soldiers of Zuus. They can also double as bounty hunters, executioners, and infiltrators. But most commonly, they are warriors. They are fighters. They will die to fight for what they believe in.

Recruits: Young cats in training to be a warrior, bounty hunter, scout/spy, executioner, infiltrator, or medics. They can also be trained to have a much higher rank if there is positional seen of them.

Medics: Gem cats in this rank are healers. It is there job to heal injured cats. The most common type are cats that can heal, such as Rose Quartzs and Moon Quartzs.

Jesters: These cats are meant to entertain their owners. They are a court jester basically. It's their job to give entertainment and fun to their master. They have the second lowest rank, just above servants.

Technicians: These cats are tech heavy cats. Tech wizs really. They're super smart, able to create all sorts of weapons and other devices to better help Zunus.

Scouts/Spies: Scouts/Spies are cats that are sent to spy on others from afar, getting information to bring back to their higher rankings.

Bounty Hunters: These gem cats are tasked with hunting down anyone that is given to them by order of their Diamond. They capture their target, bringing them back to the Empire to be tossed in a cell to await their fate.

Executioners: They are just like bounty hunters. In fact, they are them. However, instead of capturing their target, they kill him on sight, no questions asked. These are normally dark colored cats. Such as ones with Onyx or Obsidian.

Infiltrators: These are cats that are inside moles. They sneak into enemy ranks, befriending their target(s), learning all they can about their enemy(ies), giving all the information to the scouts and spies to be given to the bounty hunters, executioners, and warriors.

Servants: These are the slaves on Zunus. The lowest ranking that there is. They are treated terrible, less then pebbles. They are not considered real cats. They speak only when spoken to and must obey any order given to them. If a cat has a servant, they are considered a high ranking cat and hold a lot of power.

Marked Ones: They are Gemkats that had tried to escape once before. They were deemed as traitors and as such, they were marked to show that they were. They are treated lesser than servants on Zunus.

Lucky Givers: These are kats that are give good luck. They are to sit and look pretty on a patrol to make sure they succeed in their mission. The type of Gemkats for this rank are Topazes.

~Dragen Ranking System~

Emperor/Empress: The rulers of the Kingdom. They rule over the Kingdom and make sure everything is going as they want it.

Liege: The second in command of the Kingdom. They help the Emperor or Empress rule over the land. However, if the current leader has no children, the Liege is given to someone who the Emperor or Empress trusts to help him or her rule.

Friar: They are the healer of the Kingdom. They patch up Dragens that are injured or sick.

Heir/Heiress: The children of the leader. They are normally the next in line to become leader once their parents die or step down from their current leadership. If they have no siblings. If they do, then they'll take over after they die or retire. They hare normally too young to become a liege yet.

Warriors: They are the fighters of the Kingdom. It's their job to take part in battles and defend their home.

Hunters: Dragens that are hunters instead of fighters. It's their job to bring back prey for the Kingdom to eat.

Scouts/Spies: Their job is to scout out places that no one has gone to before. As well as spy on others, coming back to tell higher ranking dragens what they saw and their best plan of action.

Assassins: As their name suggestions, they are assassins. It's their job to go and kill others that are ordered of them.

Mages: Dragens who are very skilled in magic. Often causing spells and other things of that nature.

Collectors: They are the collectors. The bounty hunters for the dragens. They go collect traitors or enemies and drag them to the Kingdom, tossing them into the dungeon to await their punishment.

Pupils: Young dragens older then hatchlings that are training to be a mage, collector, assassin, scout/spy, hunter, warrior, warden, feeder, metalsmith, or friar.

Eggsitters: These are dragens in charge of watching other eggs in the nesting grounds. They watch over the unborn dragens if their mother wants to take part in some of her duties, such as hunting.

Caretakers: Female dragens who have young. It's their job to take care of them and raise them as the little babies are the future of the Kingdom.

Hatchlings: Young babies that just hatched or still too young to be teenagers or adults.

Castaway: Dragens that have been exiled from the Kingdom.

Performers: They are like court jesters. It's their job to performer for higher ranking dragens.

Slaves: They are the servants of the Kingdom. The lowest ranking that there is. They are treated terrible. They are not considered real dargens. They speak only when spoken to and must obey any order given to them. If a cat has a servant, they are considered a high ranking dragen and hold a lot of power.

Prisoners: Traitor dragens or other enemies that the Kingdom keeps to keep an eye on. Often down in the dungeon, awaiting their punishment.

Metalsmiths: They are in charge of making weapons. They make machines, swords, bows, things like that.

Feeders: They are in charge of getting food for the dragen. They cook it, get it ready to serve and given to the others to eat and enjoy.

Wardens: They are in charge of guarding the prisoners. They keep an eye on them and make sure they don't try to escape.

Keepers: They are sentries. They keep an eye out for danger and alert others should they see anything suspicious.

Elders: Dragens who are too old to continue doing their duties. They're retired.
