Pokemon: The Demon of Rings

Many thousands of years ago, the Legendary Pokémon all lived together in harmony, and created a prosperous civilization. All doing their part to shape the universe, they settled on a small, habitable planet called "Earth". For the longest time, these deities worked together and played their roles perfectly, until one vagabond - Hoopa, the Ring Genie, - began experimenting with creating his own life. From these experiments, the first Gijinka were born - mutated Pokémon who had taken to standing on two legs and speaking an odd language unknown to other Pokémon. He attempted a similar experiment on himself, but it went horribly wrong and his body was forever altered - he had Unbound. Fearing what the demon would do next, Arceus created Holy Gijinka, who had the potential to fight Hoopa's creations. A battle ensued, with only one of the Gijinka surviving and Hoopa being locked away and bound once more. From the DNA of the last of the Holy Gijinka, Arceus created humans, beings that would live alongside Pokémon as partners and workmates. For thousands of years, the society of Pokémon and humans has survived... however, in recent years several oddities have been popping up. Gijinka have re-emerged. These fusions of humans and Pokémon were shunned by society at first, but were soon accepted, albeit with slight tensions. What many people are fearing is that the legend has come true: Hoopa will return to Earth soon, with a new Gijinka army.
